Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) is an enabling course that provides a pathway for people wishing to gain entry to and excel in higher education. It is a government-funded programme that focuses on empowering and preparing students for future university study by helping them become self-directed, active and confident learners who are familiar with all aspects of student life – from study habits, academic writing, and goal-setting to navigating University systems and support services. Upon successful completion of STEPS, students can apply for direct entry to almost anyone of CQUniversity’s undergraduate courses.
Our upcoming STEPS information evenings will be held at the PUC on Thursday 11 June and Thursday 18 June at 6pm, Level 1 The Quarter and will explain the STEPS programme in more detail, including eligibility, how STEPS is delivered at the PUC and testimonials from past and current STEPS students.
We would love you to come along to one of these events and for your assistance to help us spread the word throughout your organisation and community about this fantastic opportunity.
