Exclusive Pilbara premiere!
The Pilbara’s biggest red carpet event of the year
The Furnace is an unlikely hero’s tale, navigating greed and the search for identity in a new land. The film illuminates the forgotten history of Australia’s ‘Ghan’ cameleers, predominantly Muslim and Sikh men from India, Afghanistan and Persia, who opened up the Nation’s desert interior, thereby forming unique bonds with local Aboriginal people.
Tickets to the event are $85+bf and include drinks prior to the premiere, the movie tickets and dessert after the screening.
Tickets are available via this LINK with the event raising funds to facilitate the Pilbara Universities Centre Community English programs in 2021.
