Conversational English

This course is designed for students with an intermediate level of English who are seeking to upskill their English proficiency in listening and speaking.  The course consists of six topics to help students develop active listening skills, seek information, prepare for job seeking and become more confident speaking in English.

Reading and Writing in English

This course is designed for students with an intermediate level of English who are seeking to up-skill their English proficiency in reading and writing.  The course consists of six topics to help students read different kinds of texts, write formal letters and emails, and prepare for job-seeking and employment.

Learning How to Learn

Learning How To Learn is a bespoke course developed and delivered by our team.  It is suitable for anyone wanting to develop practical learning strategies, critical thinking and communication skills that can be applied to study, in the workplace and daily life.  If you would like to know more about LHTL, or are interested in a custom-made course for your workplace, please contact us on info@puc.edu.au

The Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship Program is a Federal Government Program administered by each University.  The Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships Program assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from low socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those from rural and regional areas, with costs associated with studying an undergraduate course, STEPS or TEP.  For information click here.

shares stories of his life both as a bookseller and as a successful writer of books for young people.

PUC Karratha Campus

Completed in April 2020 the Pilbara Universities Centre’s Karratha campus boasts 316 square meters of stunning architecturally designed spaces that are light, spacious and purpose-built for the modern university experience.  The campus has several lecture and study rooms, meetings rooms, a modern library looking out over spectacular Nickol Bay, staff and tutor facilities, a kitchenette and lounge for students to relax in whilst studying in comfort.  The lecture rooms are flexible in size with a foldaway wall to accommodate different functional requirements, state of the art audio-visual systems and top-quality high-speed internet.  Located on Level 1 within The Quarter, overlooking the beautiful views of the City, the PUC Karratha study hub is a world-class educational facility dedicated to supporting Pilbara students.
