Graduate Certificate in Asset Maintenance & Management (In partnership with CQUniversity)

The Graduate Certificate in Asset Maintenance & Management is innovative and practical in its approach, providing you with the ability to excel in the field of maintenance, reliability and engineering management. The course is suited to those currently employed in the areas of maintenance engineering or maintenance and asset management, who would like to further advance their careers through professional development qualifications. This course offers Commonwealth Supported Places which significantly reduces the applicable course fees. 

To gain entry to this course, you must have one of the following:

  • current employment in maintenance engineering/maintenance/asset management; and
  • an associate diploma or degree in engineering, technology or applied science OR
  • an industry background, a trade qualification and demonstrated competence in the field of maintenance engineering/maintenance/asset management, with either:
    • minimum 3 years relevant maintenance/asset management experience; OR
    • minimum 5 years relevant experience in maintenance engineering.
Course details

Duration: Students typically undertake this course part-time, completing four units over 2 years.

Delivery: Online, with local tutorial support through PKUC.

Starting dates: Term 1 and Mid-Year Intake.

Graduate Certificate in Project Management (In partnership with CQUniversity)

The Graduate Certificate in Project Management introduces and develops skills to initiate projects and develop project plans to efficiently meet project goals. Case studies and practical material are embedded within the course to illustrate how the concepts of project management meet industry demand. It adopts a methodological approach to the application of project processes and highlights the integration of different frameworks to a project.

On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Project Management, you will have a comprehensive understanding of project management and be able to confidently run projects and achieve targets and outcomes in the most challenging environments.

To gain entry to this course, you must have one of the following:

  • a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an Australian university or equivalent; or
  • a recognised diploma and two years relevant business experience; or
  • a recognised Certificate IV and three years relevant business experience; or
  • a minimum of five years relevant management experience; or
  • a minimum of 10 years relevant business experience.
